Why paste the source?
Private videos only render for a logged-in session. This way your own browser loads the page and the server never needs your account.
Is it safe?
The server only scans the pasted text for a media URL and then discards it. No credentials or cookies are sent.
Can I do this on a phone?
It is awkward — mobile browsers usually block view-source:. A desktop browser is easier.
It says nothing was found
Usually the copy was partial. Press Ctrl+A to select the whole page before copying.
